Grinds, polishes, cuts and edges eyeglasses according to specifications, using a lens grinding machine which has adjustable dioptric scale that can be set to produce lens with any prescribed curvature.
Takes facial measurements of soldier and mounts lenses on proper sized frame. Adjusts eyeglasses to face at proper angles to obtain maximum effect of lenses. Requisitions lenses and frame from medical supply unit.
May fit eyeglasses in gas masks.
