Legal Clerk (279) Enlisted Personnel
Assists Judge Advocates, Legal Officers, Claims Officers, and Legal Assistance Officers in the performance of their duties.
Performs such duties as research in military and civil laws, regulations and other sources of authority; furnishing legal advice in appropriate cases; preparing charges, records of proceedings, orders, opinions, reports, documents, correspondence and other papers required in the conduct of the business of military legal office; handling the distribution of messages, files, supplies and other matters of office routine.
Civilian experience as a lawyer or law clerk required. Knowledge of typing desirable.
