Radio Repairman, AN/MRQ (Designated Model) (1648) Enlisted Personnel

Performs repairs and adjustments on a designated model of radio AN/MRQ or similar equipment that are beyond the capabilities of the radio repairman (MOS 648). Supervises the assembly of antenna and antenna tuning equipment,. Aligns receivers including amplitude and frequency modulated equipment.
Is adept in the use of precision electrical and electronic instruments and devices; various types of small hand and light machine tools.
Must be able to make any repair, adjustment, or replacement necessary to place the equipment (and usual accessories) in excellent operating condition, including overhaul or reclamation of equipment and parts.
