Yorkshire Wartime Experience 2024

Yorkshire Wartime Experience is often regarded as the premier World War II event in the north of the country. Organised by a team of fellow living historians and WWII enthusiasts, the event has quickly grown into one of the largest displays of WWII equipment and vehicles in the north of the UK. Members of Strictly GI have attended this event in previous years and have always been impressed with the scale and variety of exhibits, as well as the volume of public visitors.

The group was invited by one of the organising team to participate in the 2024 event based on the success of the group's display at the Woodhall Spa 40s Festival event in 2023. After consulting with group members at the Strictly GI Annual General Meeting, it was agreed that the group would lend its full support to the event in 2024.
