8th August - 10th August 2025The Yorkshire Wartime Experience, now rebranded as "Yorkshire Wartime," is scheduled to take place from August 8 to 10, 2025, at Kirkhouse Green, Doncaster. This event stands as the North of England's largest World War I and World War II military vehicle and living history gathering. Spanning over 30 acres, the festival offers an immersive journey into wartime history, featuring more than 400 military vehicles, including tanks, artillery, and trucks. Attendees can explore over 70 living history displays, witness explosive battle reenactments, and enjoy 1940s entertainment with singing and dancing. The event also includes military vehicle parades, children's activities such as firing ranges and mini tanks, and a vintage market with military collectibles, crafts, and food stalls. A highlight of the weekend is the Battle of Britain Memorial Flypast, offering a poignant tribute to the era.
Gates open daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Admission is priced at £13 for adults and £6 for children aged 3 to 15. The venue provides free onsite parking and is easily accessible, located just 10 miles north of Doncaster with convenient links to the A1, M18, and M62.
