As everyone knows, genuine and original WWII items are not only expensive, some are also becoming scarce . Moreover, since WWII a lot of 'military' goodies have been modified, adapted, or simply disappeared . We therefore have chosen (sometimes with limited means) to construct and recreate some of these ourselves ! Of course it should be noted that some items tend to be more of a complex nature and thus require more time and skills. In order to avoid damaging or ruining vintage stuff during our WWII impressions in the field, we prefer to try and recreate some of the more common items ourselves - for this we need a scanner, a good photocopier, quality paper or cardboard, a lot of time and good sources i.e. primarily a WWII-specimen and a correct WWII-documentation ! The majority of our members are true US Army WWII collectors, so we know where to look … we strive to make it all look as convincing as possible, while for the foodstuffs, our purpose is to make it edible !

Following photographs illustrate field use of some of our 'homemade' items, produced by "Strictly-G.I." members.

This page shows some of the items which have been manufactured and/or constructed by our members - our purpose is to use these for our WWII impressions, so they are not for sale !
